<p rend="chapter">11. Ekādasamo paricchedo</p>

<p rend="subhead">Nibbānaniddesavaṇṇanā</p>

<p rend="bodytext" n="768-9"><hi rend="paranum">768-9</hi><hi rend="dot">.</hi> Ādito <pb ed="V" n="2.0140" /> rūpānantaramuddiṭṭhaṃ yaṃ nibbānanti sambandho. Tassa vibhāvanaṃ yathābalaṃ pavakkhāmīti sambandho.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Bhavābhava</hi>nti bhavato bhavaṃ, khuddakaṃ, mahantaṃ vā bhavaṃ. <hi rend="bold">Vinanato</hi>ti saṃsibbanato. Taṇhā hi saṃsāranāyikabhāvena bhavato bhavaṃ, sugatiduggativasena khuddakamahantaṃ bhavaṃ vā aparāparabhāvāya saṃsibbati, tunnakaraṇaṃ viya karoti. <hi rend="bold">Nikkhantattā</hi>ti visaṃyogavasena nissaṭattā. Maraṇapaṭipakkhatāya, amatasadisatāya vā <hi rend="bold">amataṃ</hi>. Sabbadukkhanissaṭattā <hi rend="bold">paramaṃ sukhaṃ</hi>. Sabbepi saṅkhārā samanti upasamanti anuppattidhammataṃ āpajjanti etenāti <hi rend="bold">sabbasaṅkhārasamatho</hi>. Khandhūpadhiādayo sabbepi upadhī upaddavā paṭinissajjīyanti etenāti <hi rend="bold">sabbūpadhipaṭinissaggo</hi>. Yasmā taṃ āgamma kāmataṇhādibhedā taṇhā sabbaso khayaṃ gacchati, virajjati, nirujjhati <pb ed="M" n="2.0190" /> ca, tasmā <hi rend="bold">taṇhākkhayo virāgo nirodho</hi>ti ca vuccati. Apica rujjhanti ettha sattā kilesanigaḷabandhāti rodho, saṃsārassetaṃ adhivacanaṃ, tato nikkhantoti <hi rend="bold">nirodho</hi>.</p>

<p rend="bodytext" n="770"><hi rend="paranum">770</hi><hi rend="dot">.</hi><hi rend="bold">Adhigamā</hi>ti tadanurūpāya paṭipattiyā ariyamaggena paṭivijjhanena.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Rāgakkhayādibhāvena sabbadukkhasantiyā paccayatāya, kilesasantāpābhāvena ca <hi rend="bold">santilakkhaṇaṃ. Accutirasa</hi>nti sabhāvāpariccajanato acavanasampattikaṃ. <hi rend="bold">Assāsakaraṇarasa</hi>nti assāsakaraṇakiccaṃ. Tañhi pānabhojanādisuññe sabhayakantāre paribbhamanena parissantassa addhikapurisassa assāsajanakabhāvena upaṭṭhitaṃ vanantodakaṃ viya sabbaññubuddhānampi vacanapathātikkantamahādukkhabherave saṃsārakantāre paribbhamanena parissantassa yathānurūpaṃ paṭipattimaggaṃ paṭipannassa yogāvacarassa anādimati saṃsāre supinantenapi adiṭṭhapubbatāya dassanasamakālameva <pb ed="V" n="2.0141" /> paramassāsaṃ janeti. Khandhanimittavicittatāya aviggahaṃ hutvā gayhatīti <hi rend="bold">animittapaccupaṭṭhānaṃ</hi>. Sabbasaṅkhatanissaraṇupāyabhāvato nissaraṇaṃ paccupaṭṭhāpetīti <hi rend="bold">nissaraṇapaccupaṭṭhānaṃ</hi>.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Evaṃ nibbānassa lakkhaṇādikaṃ dassetvā idāni vitaṇḍavādipakkhaṃ dassetvā pariharanto āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘etthāhā’’</hi>tiādi, na paramatthato atthi aññatra paññattimattatoti adhippāyo. Kuto panāyamabhinivesoti āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘titthiyānaṃ…pe… nīyato’’</hi>ti. <hi rend="bold">Yathānurūpāya paṭipattiyā</hi>ti sīlasamādhipaññāsaṅkhātaṃ sammāpaṭipattiyā. Yathā hi cetoñāṇalābhino eva ariyā paresaṃ lokuttaracittaṃ jānanti, tatthāpi ca arahā eva sabbesaṃ cittaṃ jānāti, evaṃ <pb ed="M" n="2.0191" /> nibbānampi sīlādisammāpaṭipattibhūtena upāyeneva upalabbhatīti ‘‘natthī’’ti na vattabbaṃ ariyehi upalabbhanīyato. Yathā hi jaccandhatemirikādīnaṃ adassanena ‘‘sūriyādayo natthī’’ti na vattabbā cakkhumantānaṃ gocarabhāvena atthevāti siddhattā, evametampi bālaputhujjanassa adassanamattena ‘‘natthī’’ti na vattabbaṃ. Ariyānaṃ pana paññācakkhuno padeseneva upaṭṭhānato ekantena sampaṭicchitabbaṃ ‘‘atthi nibbāna’’nti. Ayamettha adhippāyo. Atha rāgādīnaṃ khayamattameva nibbānanti ceti sambandho. Āyasmatā…pe… therena dassitoti sambandho. Rāgakkhayādidīpakaṃ suttaṃ neyyatthanti adhippāyena <hi rend="bold">‘‘taṃ na’’</hi>iti paṭikkhepaṃ katvā ekaṃsena cetaṃ sampaṭicchitabbaṃ, itarathā yathārutavasena pāḷiyā atthe gayhamāne bahudosā āpajjantīti te dassetuṃ <hi rend="bold">‘‘arahattassāpī’’</hi>tiādi vuttaṃ. Arahattaṃ puṭṭhena tenevāyasmatā sāriputtattherenāti adhippāyo. <hi rend="bold">Tava matenā</hi>ti sāsanayuttiṃ avicāretvā pāḷidassanamatteneva vippalapato tavajjhāsayena. Na ca panetaṃ yuttaṃ, tathāpīti adhippāyo. Lokuttaraphalacittassa rāgādīnaṃ khayamattatāpajjanaṃ na yuttaṃ tassa aggaphalassa catukkhandhabhāvena pāḷiyaṃ āgatattā. <hi rend="bold">Tasmā</hi>ti yuttiṃ avicāretvā pāḷidassanamatteneva voharantassa aniṭṭhappasaṅgato. <hi rend="bold">Byañjanacchāyāyā</hi>ti vimaddāsahabhūtāya saddatthamattacchāyāya. <hi rend="bold">Ubhinna</hi>nti nibbānavasena, arahattavasena ca āgatānaṃ ubhinnaṃ <hi rend="bold">suttānaṃ</hi>. <hi rend="bold">Attho</hi>ti adhippāyattho.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Ko pana so atthoti āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘yassa panā’’</hi>tiādi. <hi rend="bold">Rāgādīnaṃ khayo</hi>ti rāgādīnaṃ anuppādanirodho. So dhammo akkhayopi samāno rāgādīnaṃ khayassa upanissayattā khayopacārena ‘‘rāgādīnaṃ khayo nibbāna’’nti vutto <pb ed="M" n="2.0192" /> ‘‘tipusaṃ jaro, guḷo semho’’tiādīsu phalūpacārena <pb ed="V" n="2.0142" /> vuttaṃ viyāti sambandho. Kilesānaṃ anuppattinirodhakkhayassa maggassa ārammaṇabhūtaṃ nibbānaṃ atthato ‘‘khayassa upanissayo’’ti vattabbataṃ labbhatīti āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘khayassa upanissayattā’’</hi>ti. <hi rend="bold">Khayopacārenā</hi>ti attano kāriyabhūtassa khayassa attani upacārena tassa nāmavasenāti vuttaṃ hoti. Jarakāraṇaṃ tipusaṃ jaroti vutto, semhakāraṇaṃ guḷo semhoti vutto. <hi rend="bold">Khayante</hi>ti rāgādīnaṃ parikkhayāvasāne. <hi rend="bold">Khayo</hi>ti vā maggo vuccati ‘‘khaye ñāṇa’’ntiādīsu (dha. sa. dukamātikā 142) viya, tassa ante nirodhāvasāne uppannattā <hi rend="bold">khayo</hi>ti vuttaṃ phalūpacārena, samīpūpacārena vā.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Sabbe bālaputhujjanāpī</hi>ti soṇasigālādayo sabbepi bālaputhujjanā samadhigata…pe… bhaveyyuṃ khaṇavasena rāgādīnaṃ khayassa tesampi atthitāya. Tathā ca sati paṭipattiyā niratthakabhāvo āpajjeyyāti adhippāyo. <hi rend="bold">Rāgādikkhayānaṃ bahubhāvato</hi>ti rāgādīnaṃ viya tesaṃ khayānampi tabbikārabhāvena bahubhāvato. Evañhi sati rāgassa khayo rāgakkhayo, na dosādīnaṃ, tathā dosakkhayopīti añño rāgakkhayo, añño dosakkhayo, añño mohakkhayoti tiṇṇaṃ akusalamūlānaṃ khayabhūtāni tīṇi nibbānāni, catunnaṃ upādānānaṃ khayabhūtāni cattārītiādinā bahūni nibbānāni nāma honti. Idāni ādi-saddasaṅgahite dose dassetuṃ <hi rend="bold">‘‘saṅkhatalakkhaṇa’’</hi>ntiādi vuttaṃ. ‘‘Tīṇimāni, bhikkhave, saṅkhatassa saṅkhatalakkhaṇāni, uppādo paññāyati, vayo paññāyati, ṭhitassa aññathattaṃ paññāyatī’’ti (a. ni. 3.47) vacanato vayasaṅkhāto khayo saṅkhatalakkhaṇaṃ hotīti vuttaṃ <hi rend="bold">‘‘saṅkhatalakkhaṇañca nibbānaṃ bhaveyyā’’</hi>ti. ‘‘Jarāmaraṇaṃ, bhikkhave, aniccaṃ saṅkhataṃ paṭiccasamuppanna’’nti (saṃ. ni. 2.20) vacanato āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘saṅkhatapariyāpanna’’</hi>nti <pb ed="M" n="2.0193" />. Yaṃ pana saṅkhatapariyāpannaṃ, taṃ itarasaṅkhatadhammo viya aniccaṃ hoti paccayādhīnavuttitoti āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘saṅkhatapariyāpannattā anicca’’</hi>nti. ‘‘Aniccā vata saṅkhārā’’ti (dī. ni. 2.221) hi vuttaṃ. Ettāvatā ca kiṃ vuttaṃ hoti? Yadi bhavato manorathaparipūraṇatthaṃ khayaṃ nibbānanti vadāma, asaṅkhatassa saṅkhatalakkhaṇattā, saṅkhatapaṭipakkhassa saṅkhatapariyāpannattā sabbakālikabhāvena niccassa aniccatā, tato ca paramasukhassa dukkhatā ca āpajjeyyāti vuttaṃ hoti.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Ettāvatā bhaṅgakkhayassa nibbānadosaṃ dassetvā idāni anuppādakkhayassa tabbhāvaṃ nisedhetuṃ <hi rend="bold">‘‘yadi khayo nibbānaṃ bhaveyyā’’</hi>tiādi vuttaṃ. Paṭhamamaggassa anantarapaccayabhūtaṃ ñāṇaṃ <hi rend="bold">gotrabhu</hi><pb ed="V" n="2.0143" /> nāma. Sesamaggapurecaraṃ <hi rend="bold">vodānaṃ</hi> nāma. Phalasamāpattipurecaraṃ <hi rend="bold">anulomaṃ</hi> nāma. Taṃ pana saṅkhārārammaṇamevāti idha na gahitaṃ. <hi rend="bold">Bhadramukhā</hi>ti parassa anunayavacanaṃ. <hi rend="bold">‘‘Khīyantī’’</hi>ti vattamānaniddesena idāni khīyamānataṃ pucchati. Esa nayo sesesupi. <hi rend="bold">Upadhāretvā</hi>ti upaparikkhitvā. ‘‘Gotrabhu…pe… mukhā’’ti pucchāya ‘‘rāgādīnaṃ khayameva vadāmī’’ti tayā dinnapaṭivacanassa avirujjhanavasena satipurekkhāraṃ kathehīti adhippāyo. <hi rend="bold">Gotrabhucittādīnaṃ</hi> gotrabhuvodānamaggānaṃ. Gotrabhukkhaṇe kilesānaṃ anuppādanirodhassa abhāvato āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘rāgādayo khīyissantī’’</hi>ti. <hi rend="bold">Phalamevā</hi>ti kilesānaṃ khīṇakāle uppajjamānaṃ phalacittameva. <hi rend="bold">Ārammaṇaṃ apassanto</hi>ti gotrabhuādīnaṃ vattabbārammaṇaṃ apassanto. Atha vā itaresaṃ ārammaṇabhāve sati gahetabbapaccayaṃ apassanto.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">‘‘Apicā’’</hi>tiādi pariyāyantarenapi anuppādanirodhassa nibbānabhāvanisedhanaṃ. ‘‘Uppādīyatīti attho’’ti pana <pb ed="M" n="2.0194" /> maggassa uppattiyā kilesakkhayopi uppādito nāma hotīti katvā vuttaṃ. Na hi itarathā khayassa uppādo nāma atthi. Atha vā ‘‘addhā so…pe… niruttaro bhavissatī’’ti ettakena ganthena khaṇanirodhassa ceva anuppādanirodhassa ca nibbānabhāve dosaṃ dassetvā idāni ‘‘khaye ñāṇa’’ntiādīsu (dha. sa. dukamātikā 142) viya maggassāpi khayapariyāyattā ‘‘rāgakkhayo’’tiādivacanamatteyeva samānabhāvena gahite maggassāpi nibbānabhāvappasaṅgaṃ, tathā ca sati aniṭṭhāpattiṃ sambhāvento āha <hi rend="bold">‘‘apicā’’</hi>tiādi. Evañhi sati ‘‘uppādīyatī’’ti maggameva sandhāya tiṭṭhati. Yadi maggassa nibbānabhāvappasaṅgo idha sambhāvito, evaṃ sati gotrabhussa maggārammaṇatādidosā vattabbāti? Saccaṃ vattabbā, ettakenāpi pana parassa vacanapaṭibāhanaṃ sakkā kātunti parihārantaradassane byāpāro katoti. <hi rend="bold">Yathānurūpāya paṭipattiyā</hi>ti chavisuddhiparamparāsaṅkhātāya yathānulomapaṭipattiyā.</p>

<p rend="bodytext" n="771"><hi rend="paranum">771</hi><hi rend="dot">.</hi><hi rend="bold">Assaddho</hi>ti pabuddhasaddho, maggāgatāya acalasaddhāya samannāgato, maggāgatasaddhāya hi samannāgato ākāse buddhavesaṃ māpetvāpi ‘‘niccaṃ sukhaṃ attā’’ti vadantassa na saddahati seyyathāpi sūrambaṭṭhoti (a. ni. 1.255). <hi rend="bold">Akataññū</hi>ti akataṃ nibbānaṃ jānātīti akataññū. <hi rend="bold">Sandhicchedo</hi>ti bhavasandhānakarassa taṇhāpāpassa chindanena puna bhavapaṭisandhiyāpi chinnatāya paṭisandhiṃ khepetvā ṭhito. <hi rend="bold">Hatāvakāso</hi>ti khīṇapaṭisandhikattāyeva āyatiṃ katthaci okāsaloke adissamānattā vihatāvakāso. <hi rend="bold">Vantāso</hi>ti katthaci abhisaṅgābhāvato <pb ed="V" n="2.0144" /> chaḍḍitataṇhoti attho. <hi rend="bold">Uttamaporiso</hi>ti sadevaloke aggadakkhiṇeyyatāya visiṭṭho poriso.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Duppaṭividdhā</hi>ti <pb ed="M" n="2.0195" /> paṭivijjhituṃ, paṭilabhituñca dukkarā. Kāmādīnaṃ nissaraṇīyatāya nissaraṇīyā, yadidaṃ nekkhammaṃ, etaṃ kāmānaṃ nissaraṇanti sambandho. Tattha <hi rend="bold">kāmānaṃ nissaraṇa</hi>nti kāmehi niggamanaṃ, atha vā nissaranti niggacchanti ettha etenāti vā <hi rend="bold">nissaraṇaṃ,</hi> kāmānaṃ nissaraṇaṭṭhānaṃ, nissaraṇupāyanti attho. <hi rend="bold">Nekkhamma</hi>nti paṭhamajjhānaṃ. Tañhi kāmehi nikkhantanti ‘‘nekkhamma’’nti idha gahitaṃ, aññattha pana pabbajjādayopi ‘‘nekkhamma’’nti pavuccanti. Vuttañhi –</p>

<p rend="gatha1">‘‘Pabbajjā paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ, nibbānañca vipassanā;</p>

<p rend="gathalast">Sabbepi kusalā dhammā, ‘nekkhamma’nti pavuccare’’ti. (itivu. aṭṭha. 109; dī. ni. ṭī. 2.360; a. ni. ṭī. 2.3.66; visuddhi. mahā. 1.56; netti. ṭī. 76 missakahārasampātavaṇṇanā);</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Arūpaṃ</hi> ākāsānañcāyatanaṃ. <hi rend="bold">Bhūta</hi>nti vijjamānaṃ, khandhapañcakanti attho. ‘‘Bhūtamidanti, sāriputta, samanupassāmī’’tiādīsu khandhapañcakaṃ ‘‘bhūta’’nti vuccati. Attano kāraṇaṃ paṭicca samaṃ, sammā ca uppannanti <hi rend="bold">paṭiccasamuppannaṃ. Paṭhama…pe… bhaveyyā</hi>ti saṅkhatanissaraṇabhāvena vuttassa nibbānassa abhāvappattiyā ca tadekayoganiddiṭṭhānaṃ yathākkamaṃ kāmarūpanissaraṇānaṃ paṭhamajjhānākāsānañcāyatanānampi abhāvoyeva āpajjeyya. Idāni yathādhippetamatthaṃ āgamena dassetuṃ <hi rend="bold">‘‘na tu khayo’’</hi>tiādi vuttaṃ.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">‘‘Atthi…pe… suphusitanti cā’’ti natthi nissaraṇaṃ loke, kiṃ vivekena kāmāpīti evaṃ mārena paṭibāhite. ‘‘Atthi…pe… suphusita’’nti nibbānaṃ patiṭṭhapentena āḷavakattherena vuttaṃ. <hi rend="bold">Suphusita</hi>nti suṭṭhu phusitaṃ, sacchikatanti vuttaṃ hoti. <hi rend="bold">Ajāta</hi>ntiādīni cattāri padāni aññamaññavevacanāni. Atha vā vedanādayo viya hetupaccayasamavāyasaṅkhātāya kāraṇasāmaggiyā na jātaṃ na nibbattanti <hi rend="bold">ajātaṃ</hi><pb ed="M" n="2.0196" />. Kāraṇena vinā sayameva ca na bhūtaṃ na pātubhūtaṃ na uppannanti <hi rend="bold">abhūtaṃ</hi>. Evaṃ ajātattā abhūtattā yena kenaci kāraṇena na katanti <pb ed="V" n="2.0145" /><hi rend="bold">akataṃ</hi>. Jātabhūtakatabhāvo ca nāma rūpādīnaṃ saṅkhatadhammānaṃ hoti, na asaṅkhatasabhāvassa nibbānassāti dassanatthaṃ <hi rend="bold">asaṅkhata</hi>nti vuttaṃ. Paṭilomato vā samecca sambhūya paccayehi katanti saṅkhataṃ, na tathā saṅkhataṃ, saṅkhatalakkhaṇarahitanti ca <hi rend="bold">asaṅkhata</hi>nti. Evaṃ anekehi kāraṇehi nibbattitabhāve paṭisiddhe pakativādīnaṃ pakati viya siyā nu kho, ekeneva kāraṇena etaṃ katanti āsaṅkāya na kenaci katanti dassanatthaṃ ‘‘akata’’nti vuttaṃ. Evaṃ apaccayampi samānaṃ sayameva nu kho idaṃ bhūtaṃ pātubhūtanti āsaṅkāya tannivattanatthaṃ ‘‘abhūta’’nti vuttaṃ. Ayañcetassa asaṅkhatākatābhūtabhāvo sabbena sabbaṃ ajātadhammattāti dassetuṃ ‘‘ajāta’’nti vuttaṃ.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Asaṅkhatantī</hi>ti <hi rend="bold">iti</hi>-saddo ādiattho. Tena –</p>

<p rend="indent">‘‘No cetaṃ, bhikkhave, abhavissa ajātaṃ abhūtaṃ akataṃ asaṅkhataṃ. Nayidha jātassa bhūtassa katassa saṅkhatassa nissaraṇaṃ paññāyetha. Yasmā ca kho, bhikkhave, atthi ajātaṃ abhūtaṃ akataṃ asaṅkhataṃ, tasmā jātassa bhūtassa katassa saṅkhatassa nissaraṇaṃ paññāyatī’’ti (udā. 73) –</p>

<p rend="unindented">Evamādisuttapadaṃ saṅgaṇhāti. Tenāha <hi rend="bold">‘‘anekesu suttantesū’’</hi>ti. Dhammena sadevakassa lokassa sāmī, dhammassa vā yathicchitaṃ desanato sāmī issaroti <hi rend="bold">dhammasāmī</hi>. Tathāgata-saddassa attho heṭṭhā kathitova. Sammā sāmaṃ sabbadhamme abhisambuddho, sammā sayameva sammohaniddāvigamena paṭibuddho, buddhiyā vikasitavāti vā <hi rend="bold">sammāsambuddho</hi>.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Parittattike</hi>ti <pb ed="M" n="2.0197" /> ‘‘parittā dhammā, mahaggatā dhammā, appamāṇā dhammā’’ti (dha. sa. tikamātikā 12) evaṃ parittādidhammavasena āgate parittattike.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Navattabbārammaṇattā</hi>ti navattabbārammaṇattappasaṅgato. Tenāha <hi rend="bold">‘‘navattabbārammaṇapakkhaṃ bhajeyyu’’</hi>nti. <hi rend="bold">Rūpāvacarattikacatukkajjhānā</hi>ti catukkanayena tikajjhānā, pañcakanayena catukkajjhānā. Kusalakiriyānaṃ abhiññābhāvappattiyā parittādikepi ārabbha pavattanato <hi rend="bold">‘‘catutthassa jhānassa vipāko’’</hi>ti āha. <hi rend="bold">Tasmā</hi>ti yathāvuttayuttito ceva pāḷito ca. Kiñca bhiyyo <pb ed="V" n="2.0146" /> – saṅkhatadhammārammaṇaṃ vipassanāñāṇaṃ, apica anulomabhāvappattaṃ kilese tadaṅgavasena pajahati, samucchedavasena pajahituṃ na sakkoti, tathā sammutisaccārammaṇaṃ paṭhamajjhānādikusalañāṇaṃ vikkhambhanavaseneva kilese pajahati, na samucchedavasena. Iti saṅkhatadhammārammaṇassa, sammutisaccārammaṇassa ca ñāṇassa kilesānaṃ samucchedappahāne asamatthabhāvato tesaṃ samucchedappahānakarassa ariyamaggañāṇassa tadubhayaviparītabhāvena ārammaṇena bhavitabbaṃ, tañca nibbānameva. Tenāhu porāṇā –</p>

<p rend="gatha1">‘‘Ñāṇaṃ yaṃ saṅkhatālambaṃ, paññattālambameva vā;</p>

<p rend="gathalast">Pāpe hanti na taṃ vatthuṃ, tadaññaṃ sampaṭicchiya’’nti.</p>

<p rend="bodytext"><hi rend="bold">Rūpasabhāvābhāvato</hi>ti etena yathā rūpadhammānaṃ ruppanasabhāvo, paṭighātavantatā kalāpato vuttiyā padesasambandho sabhāvo, evaṃ nibbānassa katthaci paṭighāto, sappadesatā ca natthīti dasseti. Na hi nibbānaṃ ‘‘asukadisāya, asukapadese’’ti vā niddisīyati. <hi rend="bold">Papañcābhāvato</hi>ti taṇhāmānadiṭṭhipapañcehi saha avaṭṭhānavasena abhāvato, tesaṃ abhāvapaccayatāya ca. Taṇhādiṭṭhimānā <pb ed="M" n="2.0198" /> hi saṃsāre satte papañcentīti papañcā nāma.</p>

<p rend="bodytext" n="772-5"><hi rend="paranum">772-5</hi><hi rend="dot">.</hi> Evaṃ nibbānaṃ yuttito, suttato ca sādhetvā idāni tassa pariyāyasandassanatthaṃ <hi rend="bold">‘‘accantamananta’’</hi>ntiādi vuttaṃ. Tattha saṃsārappavattiyā pariyosānabhūtattā <hi rend="bold">antaṃ</hi>. Iminā anupādisesanibbānadhātu kathitāti vadanti, sopādisesanibbānadhātupi vaṭṭati, akatantipi paṭhanti. So heṭṭhā vuttatthova. Sauppādavayantābhāvena <hi rend="bold">anantaṃ</hi>. Kilesapariḷāhābhāvena, kilesakkhobhābhāvena ca <hi rend="bold">santaṃ</hi>. Palokitābhāvena <hi rend="bold">apalokitaṃ</hi>. Atittikarabhāvena <hi rend="bold">paṇītaṃ</hi>. Sabbadukkhahananato <hi rend="bold">saraṇaṃ</hi>. Kilesacorehi anupaddutattā nibbhayatāya <hi rend="bold">khemaṃ</hi>. Sabbupaddavanivāraṇato <hi rend="bold">tāṇaṃ</hi>. Jātiādidukkhehi anubandhassa allīyituṃ yuttaṭṭhānatāya <hi rend="bold">leṇaṃ</hi>. Yathāpaṭipannassa santidāyakattena paraṃ patiṭṭhābhāvato <hi rend="bold">parāyaṇaṃ</hi>.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Sabbapīḷāvimuttatāya <hi rend="bold">sivaṃ</hi>. Upanissayahīnānaṃ sabbaññumukhato sutvāpi ṭhapetvā guṇavasena sabhāvato paṭivijjhituṃ dukkaratāya <hi rend="bold">nipuṇaṃ</hi>. Aviparītatāya <hi rend="bold">saccaṃ</hi>. Sabbadukkhaparikkhayakarattā <hi rend="bold">dukkhakkhayaṃ</hi>. Tejussadatāya santattaayoguḷe makkhikāhi viya catūhi <pb ed="V" n="2.0147" /> āsavehi ārammaṇakaraṇavasena pavattituṃ asakkuṇeyyatāya <hi rend="bold">anāsavaṃ</hi>. Mahākāruṇikassāpi dhammadesanāya appossukkabhāvāpādanena paṭivijjhituṃ dukkaratāya <hi rend="bold">sududdasaṃ</hi>. Lokuttaradhammesupi asaṅkhataguṇena visiṭṭhatāya <hi rend="bold">paraṃ</hi>. Saṃsāramahāsamuddassa tīrabhūtattā <hi rend="bold">pāraṃ</hi>. Maṃsacakkhuno, dibbacakkhuno vā agocaratāya <hi rend="bold">anidassanaṃ</hi>. Nidassanasaṅkhātāya upamāya abhāvato vā <hi rend="bold">anidassanaṃ</hi>.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Avipariṇāmadhammattā <pb ed="M" n="2.0199" /><hi rend="bold">dhuvaṃ</hi>. Tatoyeva paramapatiṭṭhābhāvato <hi rend="bold">dīpaṃ</hi>. Rogādipīḷābhāvato <hi rend="bold">abyāpajjhaṃ</hi>. Tatoyeva <hi rend="bold">anītikaṃ</hi>. Taṇhālayābhāvato <hi rend="bold">anālayaṃ</hi>. Saṅkhatāsaṅkhatesu asaṅkhatakoṭṭhāsabhūtattā, paramapatiṭṭhābhāvato vā <hi rend="bold">padaṃ</hi>. Avināsabhāvena <hi rend="bold">accutaṃ</hi>. Akkharaṇato avinassanato <hi rend="bold">akkharaṃ</hi>.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Saṅkhatanissaṭattā <hi rend="bold">vimutti</hi>. Bhavabandhanavimuttihetutāya <hi rend="bold">mokkhaṃ</hi>.</p>

<p rend="bodytext" n="776-7"><hi rend="paranum">776-7</hi><hi rend="dot">.</hi><hi rend="bold">Eva</hi>nti yathāvuttanayena. <hi rend="bold">Viññāyā</hi>ti uggahaparipucchāvasena jānitvā. <hi rend="bold">Adhigamūpāyo</hi>ti paṭivijjhanūpāyabhūtā tisso sikkhā. <hi rend="bold">Kātabbo</hi>ti paṭipajjitabbo.</p>

<p rend="bodytext">Saddhaṃ, buddhiñca karoti vaḍḍhetīti <hi rend="bold">saddhābuddhikaraṃ. Tathāgatamate</hi>ti tipiṭakabuddhavacane, catūsu saccesu vā. Paññāya sambhūtaṃ, paññāya vā sambhavo etassāti paññāsambhavaṃ, tadeva sampasādanaṃ buddhādīsu adhimuccanaṃ, taṃ karotīti <hi rend="bold">paññāsambhavasampasādanakaraṃ. Atthabyañjanasālina</hi>nti atimadhurehi atthabyañjanehi samannāgataṃ, atthabyañjanasāravantanti vā attho ra-kārassa la-kāraṃ katvā. Sāraṃ jānantīti sāraññū, te vimhāpetīti <hi rend="bold">sāraññuvimhāpanaṃ. Niṭṭha</hi>nti pariyosānaṃ, sutamayamūlakaṃ anupādāparinibbānanti adhippāyo.</p>
